Eyenetwork Video Conferencing Costs

The cost of a video conference meeting comprises of:

• Room Hire For Eyenetwork arranged facilities - per hour
• Call Charges ISDN charges for audio and visual link up if the call is initiated by the bureau
• Booking Fee £50 / $85 / €65

Here we give some scenarios to give you an idea of typical costs and the types of meetings we arrange. Compare these to the costs of travelling to a meeting, don't forget to include flights, hotels, taxis and the time spent travelling.

Scenario 1

Customer in New Zealand does not have equipment and wants to connect to a colleague who does have equipment in New York. We hire the Auckland, New Zealand site and the New York colleague pays for the call.

Total cost for an hour: £145 / $290 / €200

Scenario 2

Customer does not have any equipment and wants to hire a room in the UK to link with Islamabad for 1 hour. We hire the UK site and the Pakistan site for 2 hours and arrange for the calls to be connected @256kbs.

Total cost: £446 / $892 / €680

Scenario 3

Recruitment company has its own equipment in Paris and wants to interview 5 people in 5 different locations on the same day. They want Moscow, Brisbane, Brussels, Paris and Brunei.

We find the 5 locations, check the times zones, and send a map of each location along with the booking confirmation. The costs would be, for 1 hour in each site during office hours, with no call charges:

• Moscow £150 / $300 / €195
• Brisbane £100 / $200 / €130
• Brussels £100 / $200 / €130
• Paris £110 / $220 / €143
• Brunei £100 / $200 / €130

A scheduling fee of £50 / $85 / €65 per site would also apply.

Scenario 4

A CPS solicitor needs to get evidence from a witness in Colombia. The Crown Court has its own equipment. We book the Colombia room for 3 hours and request that a Koran is made available for the witness.

Cost of booking the room for 3 hours, with scheduling fee: £350 / $700 / €455
